My main inspiration for this poster were the african fabrics. They are representative of the African culture, and embody at the same time the vitality and strength of African women. Also, most of these fabrics contain symbols that build a pictorial language, familiar to most african cultures, each of them possessing a different meaning such as strength, wisdom, equality or willingness to take action. And isn’t this what those women want and fight for?
